i hate living here.
I'm beginning to realize
That this is going to be a very bad weekend for me. All I will think about is someone I love dressing up in costume with someone else and how, if I had done things differently, it could have been me. I won’t want to hang out with anyone, I don’t want to go anywhere. I want to stay home and talk to my friends. But they’ll all be out too. Fuck, it’s going to be awful.
You...

Follow me on twitter! →
Hey guys, I just wanted to share my twitter on here in case you were interested. It was protected, but I turned that off. I don’t have anything to hide, and the spam can’t be enough of a reason to lock myself away. Anyways, totally different stuff than what I post on here. Enjoy
But nothing else compares
To easy times and easy eyes

20 pounds
I have one more thing to add, actually. Today I officially hit the 20 pounds lost mark. I started running in January, and lost the bulk of my weight just doing that. In September I had a boot camp class, and now I’m in a sort of graduated-boot camp/boot camp on steroids class. Since doing boot camp I haven’t lost much weight because of gaining muscle, so there has been a lot of trade...
Distraction
The Colts game made me feel a little better. Garçon’s catch was insane. Addai had a huge game; I hope he’s ok. I did the math, and this was my 250th straight Colts game viewed without a miss. A few of those had to be listened to on radio, but hey it counts. It’s nice to have a dependable distraction. Although it’s not a perfect distraction. And it is just a distraction....
Broken.
Regrets
Today, for the first time ever, I left a football game early. Halfway through the 2nd quarter I left and drove home. That should tell you how awful this week has been.
I love the Hoosiers. I love the Colts. I love the sports teams I follow, but they aren’t anywhere near as important as the people I keep close in my life. It’s really hard for me when I can’t explain that to...
Did you know
halcyonhaley:
Copper was once used to make buttons for uniforms worn by police men. The commonly used slang “copper” refers to that practice.
Whoa. This is awesome. I love facts like this, btw.

Now grab a bottle of wine, sit back and enjoy…and remember, stay classy ;)
Ahahaha I like this.
Outback
I hate Outback Steakhouse. It was one of my favorite restaurants until I worked there the summer after my freshman year in college. I suppose anybody’s first job will almost always end up being a hated place, but I can’t explain how much this place’s image was destroyed in my mind.
I bring this up because I ate there for the first time in forever yesterday. I really wanted a...
When "brands" are just plain bad for sports →
For an example of when brands are given way too much focus, look no further than ESPN today. “University of South Carolina v. University of Southern California, 09-1270” is an ongoing case of the most ridiculously stupid nature. Basically, South Carolina wants to sell baseball hats using the initials “SC.” They applied for a trademark and were rejected because Southern Cal...
one forty plus: Postcard →
I love this. I don’t agree with all of it, but it’s the logic behind it that matters. This is why I love John Mayer and what he stands for. He’s honest, up front, no bs. I don’t care what you think of his as an artist; if you listen to what he has to say, really listen, you are going to respect him. I don’t think there is any way you can avoid it.
His thoughts about...
Hooooosiers
I had a lot of fun at the IU-Michigan game this weekend. There are a lot of pessimists out there and they’re going to complain endlessly about how it’s the same old, same old. We don’t have a secondary, we drop key balls, etc. etc. But what people need to see and what they would see, if they cared to look for it, was that IU is undoubtedly getting better every single week since...
