The best part about staying up late and writing, then doing random chores with the internet on is the new music you find. You’re in a different state of mind than you are at any other time. At least for me, I’m much more receptive and open to new songs/artists/albums. And when you’re in that state of mind, the new music you find seems to attach itself to whatever your doing or thinking at the moment. Or at least to the feeling you have now. I love that.

I just watched an anti-SOPA/PIPA video that featured the Rolling Stones’ Beast of Burden. I’ve heard the song before, but not being a huge Stones fan I’ve never really listened to it as anything more than background noise. It’s a freaking awesome song. I’m pretty cool, calm and collected right now. And that’s how the song makes me feel. So, yeah, that’s cool. And now Iron Maiden’s Number of the Beast is on. Hmmm, skip. haha, sorry.

I think I might go read some more Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I’ve been neglecting that book with all my apartment finding chores.

Ah yes, I haven’t mentioned that here in a public post yet (I’ve also left it off facebook) - I move in to an apartment Friday. It’s a duplex in Fountain Square that was just recently completely remodeled on the inside, and it’s pretty freaking awesome. I found a sectional with a couch and chaise the other day that I loved, and I put it on hold today. Cable and internet is being installed Friday when we move in, and yeah, progress. I have my LASIK exam tomorrow, and will most likely have the procedure by the end of February. My friend’s got me a Nike+ SportWatch GPS, and I’ll start my half marathon training soon. And the two nice pens my mom got me for Christmas, despite the fact that they are monogrammed in the most lame way possible (seriously all I needed/wanted was a pen. not necessary at all), are awesome. Also, I have 4 new BR shirts, 3 with french cuffs, that are freaking awesome, plus a few new ties. I really like my new outfits. Like I said before, I’m not really a big fashion person, at all. But I do like to dress up, and yeah. These are nice. Now I just need to learn to iron properly… hmmm.
